At this year’s ICE conference there will be three types of sessions:
Plenary: A plenary session by the conference chairs and a keynote speaker.
Paper: A standard paper session. Authors will have 10 minutes to present their paper – with 5 minutes for questions. Each paper session is chaired by an expert in the respective field from the ICE conference board.
Workshop: Designed to be a more free flowing sessions. Each author will still have a strict 5-10 minutes to present their paper. Straight after the presentation the chair will only allow limited questions. However, a more significant discussion period (approx 40min->1 hour) will follow when the authors and participants can pose questions and engage in discussion. Each paper workshop is chaired by an expert in the respective field from the ICE conference board or an invited guest.
Instructions for Authors
Due to the format this year we encourage authors to keep their presentations short and focus on; aims/objectives, methodology, results, and finding/limitations. There is no specific presentation format or template.
Please note participants in the “Data Management and Use of Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing” workshop will also receive direct instructions from the chair.
All sessions will be conducted using zoom. Zoom can be downloaded free of charge here.
A guide for how zoom will be used for this conference can be found here. There will be an opportunity to test zoom on Friday 18th June.
PDF Proceedings and Recordings of the sessions will be made available to registered attendees after the conference.
